Expectations

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or Equivalent
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience years of experience in a technical developer role, preferably with experience in Temenos T24/Transact development, including knowledge of specific modules or areas such as core banking, payments, loans, or accounting.
Knowledge in Extensibility framework, Java and Phyton language.
Familiarity with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL, and ability to write complex SQL queries is an advantage.
Experience with API integration (REST, SOAP) and working with web services.
Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Ability to work independently and resolve issues proactively.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams, including technical consultants, project managers, and functional teams.
Temenos certifications (e.g., Temenos Transact, Temenos Payments) with accredited status (TLC) and above or similar industry-recognized certifications.

What You Will Do

As a Senior Developer, you will be required to perform the following key responsibilities:

Development & Customization
- Develop, customize, and implement Temenos software solutions, ensuring alignment with client specifications and business processes.
- Write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code to customize and configure Temenos Transact, Payments.
- Design and implement local customization as per client and business requirements.

System Integration
- Work on the integration of Temenos solutions with third-party systems, including core banking, ensuring smooth data exchange and interoperability.
- Develop and manage system integrations using technologies like APIs (REST/SOAP), middleware, and ETL tools.

Testing & Technical Support
- Conduct thorough unit testing, functional testing, and debugging of the developed code to ensure product quality.
- On completion of unit testing, package the code and coordinate with environment team for deployment into higher release environments.
- Collaborate with the QA team to address bugs and ensure that the code meets the required standards.
- Provide technical support to clients and internal teams, helping troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems promptly.
- Assist with troubleshooting during testing cycles, production and post-production issues and ensure they are resolved within the given timelines.

Collaboration and Documentation
- Collaborate with functional consultants, project managers, and other team members to ensure successful product implementation.
- Document code, system configurations, and integration processes to maintain clarity for future reference and for the development team.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, including specifications, user manuals, and process guides.

Continuous learning & Improvement
- Keep up to date with the latest Temenos product updates, new features, and best practices.
- Continuously improve development skills through training and knowledge sharing with the team.
- Ability to lead / mentor developer profiles is a must.

Training & Support
- Develop training materials and provide support in technical training sessions to clients and internal teams, ensuring they understand how to maximize the use of the product.
- Stay up to date with the latest product updates, features, and releases, ensuring the team and clients are informed about new capabilities.
- Technical support post-implementation to resolve any issues and ensure client satisfaction.
