Expectations

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, Business, or a related field.

  • 18+ years of experience in Pre-sales or solutioning roles.

  • Strong understanding of the Temenos product suite and the product capabilities.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading pre-sales efforts and driving solution sales.

  • Experience in delivering Temenos solutions to large banking institutions or financial organizations.

  • Temenos certifications (e.g., Temenos Transact, Temenos Infinity) or similar industry-recognized certifications.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, Product consulting team and quality assurance team for the proposals and other pre-sales activities.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

What You Will Do

As a Pre-sales lead, you will be required to perform the following key responsibilities:


  • Solution Design & Proposal Development

    • Work closely with the sales team to understand client needs and requirements, business challenges

    • Design and propose tailored solution approach (including core banking, digital banking, and other Temenos products) to address client-specific needs.

    • Lead and support the creation of high-quality technical and business proposals, RFP responses, and other pre-sales documentation.

    • Provide clear, concise, and compelling demonstrations of Temenos solutions to showcase their capabilities in solving client pain points.

    • Translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable value propositions.


  • Client Interaction

    • Engage with clients during pre-sales discussions to understand their business objectives.

    • Participate in client meetings to provide subject matter expertise, product knowledge, and technical insights.

    • Lead workshops to uncover customer needs and requirements during the demonstrations and proposal presentation to prospective clients

    • Address client functional & technical inquiries and assist in resolving product and technology related questions highlighting, how Temenos solutions can drive business value.

    • Guide clients through the implementation process, highlighting the benefits of Temenos solutions.

  • Collaboration with Sales Team

    • Work alongside the sales team to create compelling sales strategies and close deals.

    • Collaborate with consulting and implementation teams to ensure that proposed solutions align with the delivery capabilities of the organization.

    • Provide support during the sales cycle by assisting with the identification and qualification of leads.

    • Assist in the development of sales collateral and other documentation to support sales efforts.

    • Act as a liaison between the client, sales, and product consultant teams to ensure alignment on project scope and deliverables.

  • Pre-Sales Support and enablement

    • Develop and maintain a repository of pre-sales materials, including case studies, technical, functional documents, and FAQs.

    • Train and mentor junior pre-sales staff and assist in their professional development.

    • Participate in the creation and execution of go-to-market strategies.


  • Demonstrations & Presentations

    • Conduct tailored product demonstrations, webinars, and PoCs (Proof of concepts) for prospective clients to illustrate the value and capabilities of Temenos solutions.

    • Collaborate with the consulting team to ensure that PoCs align with customer needs and highlight key features.

    • Lead client workshops and technical discussions, offering deep insights into how Temenos solutions can be optimized for their specific environments.


  • Market & Product Knowledge

    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the industry, product features, and competitive landscape.

    • Continuously improve product knowledge and delivery capabilities.

The ideal candidates should have extensive expertise in Temenos product suite and will be responsible for driving the Pre-sales process, by ensuring that our solutions are aligned with client’s requirement and business goals.


The Pre-Sales Lead will be responsible for collaborating with the sales, technical, and consulting teams to create tailored solutions, develop proposals, and present Temenos solutions to prospective clients in the banking and financial services industry.
